Bouncy Beach is a card game that was originally designed for inclusion in a video game we will be releasing in the future. However now that the game is finished our card game team have decided to try and fund a physical edition of the game. We are already at 60% funding in under 18 hours and are moving towards our goal, with additional goals adding more content to the game at no extra charge.
In addition as a special bonus for our existing backers and early adopters, they have made an early bird tier which will save our backers an extra £10 on the cost of the card game. This early bird tier is only available until we reach our primary goal of £10,000 so please if you like card game and sexy girls or just want to support our different projects checkout the campaign now so you can get in on the best tier level available.
Hi all, in today's update I want to tell you about something really special...
A friend of mine who is an illustrator and animator has been inspired by my work to try and become a full-time graphic novelist! To help them reach this goal they have launched their first Kickstarter campaign to fund a graphic novel called ARKS.
During the past few years he has been researching his idea which follows two humans on an alien planet trying to survive. His Kickstarter aims to do two things.
First: To give him some funds so that he can dedicate his time to its completion, rather than working on it as a hobby, the more funds he receives the more time he will be able to dedicate each month.
Second: To also create an amazing physical edition of the first issue for those who support the campaign as well as fund other additional rewards and items too.
As this is his first campaign I hope you will consider checking it out and even supporting him and perhaps sharing it to anyone who might be interested, it is now live on Kickstarter, please consider helping to make his dream a reality so that he can go from advertising to graphic novelist and create a great story for you all to enjoy. I feel I should say that this campaign is not part of Dharker Studios in any way, it is not a sponsored advertisement and is not linked to us. Rory (the illustrator) is simply put a friend. I like his campaign and planned story ideas and hope to help it succeed by informing people I think might be interested in it, thus doing what I can to help my friend achieve his dreams as I was able to do myself thanks in no small way to the support of Kickstarter and its community of people like yourselves.
As any veteran of my campaigns knows whilst I may promote my own campaigns rigorously, this is the first time I have promoted a campaign not connected to Dharker Studios for over five years. This is because I feel I can only tell people of a campaign if I know the people running it personally and also believe in the product they are aiming to create.
